I got looked at funny today
By a big mean man all in black;
And his girlfriend was a bitch,
Wearing black and an upside-down pentacle.
They were cool.
And I was wearing a spring-yellow embroidered camisole
With a flowy, peach flowery skirt;
And my hair was in curls.
Well, I’m sorry, big mean man and goth-girl,
But I left my pentacle at home today.
And I left my black and my bad attitude behind when I first picked up that pentacle.
And I’m on my way to get filtered water and organic fruits,
And your frowns can’t darken my sunshine.
